Glenna H. Mehling, 97, of Corydon, died Sunday, September 29, 2024, in Corydon.  She was born February 9, 1927, in Cairo, Illinois, to the late John Stewart Dunlap and Ruth Burton Dunlap.  She was a retired RN at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon and was a member of the Church of Christ.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John L. “Jack” Mehling; her brothers, Allen, Kenneth, David & Byron Dunlap; and her sisters, Anita Calahan, Lois Glindmeyer, Janice Dunlap and Judith Shaw.

 

Survivors include her sons, Stuart Mehling, Ray Mehling (Maxine), and James Mehling (Yuka); her daughters, Joan Wright (Mike), Lea Mosier, and Patricia Miller; her grandchildren, Joseph Mehling, Melissa Wright (Paul Harvey), Greg Mosier, Brian Mosier, Kevin Mosier, Lindsay Froman (J.D.), and Erin Henry (Josh); her great grandchildren, Elijah Mosier, Braelyn Mosier, Chloe Mosier, Kennedy Mosier, Griffin Froman, Lauren Froman, Ella Henry, Olivia Henry, Kaden Harvey and Kai Harvey; and her brothers, Gale Dunlap (Addie) and Mike Dunlap

 

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Rev. Webster Oglesby will officiate.  Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.

 

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

 

Pallbearers will be Greg Mosier, Brian Mosier, Kevin Mosier, Joseph Mehling, Mike Wright and Paul Harvey.
