Edwin Orem, age 94 of Paintsville, Kentucky; passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024 at Mountain Manor Nursing Home.

     Born April 6, 1930 to the late George Orem and Jessie Singleton. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Stuart Wayne Orem; and one sister, Joyce Johnson. Mr. Orem is survived by his wife, Nina James Orem; two sons, Michael T. (and Nancy) Orem of Paintsville, Kentucky and Gary L. (and Carolyn) Orem of Ball Ground, Georgia; one daughter, Susan Denise Orem of La Belle, Florida; one brother, James Orem of Germantown, Ohio; and one sister-in-law, Rebecca Orem. Ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren also survive.

     Funeral services will be held 12:00pm Thursday, October 3, 2024 at the Phelps & Son Funeral Home. Friends may visit the Phelps & Son Funeral Home from 11:00am to 12:00pm Thursday, prior to the service.
