Timothy David Redlin Obituary

JASPER—Timothy David Redlin, age 81, of Jasper, died early Sunday morning, September 29, 2024, at Charlotte Stephenson Manor in Adrian while under the care of Hospice of Lenawee. He was born December 13, 1942, in Adrian, the son of the late Virgil David and Velma (Albright) Redlin. Tim married Linda Lou Taylor on September 25, 1965. Together they raised two children and enjoyed 59 years of companionship until her recent passing on September 17.

Tim honorably served his country as a member of the United States National Guard. In addition to being a proud lifelong farmer, Tim also worked for many years at the former Dura Corporation in Adrian. He enjoyed fishing and camping trips with his family, especially in northern Michigan, where he owned property. He was an avid game trapper with his trained coon hounds, and his love of dogs persisted ever since. A lover of music, Tim was talented at playing the guitar. In later years he loved to spend time mowing his yard, listen to music, and perfect his game of Euchre. Tim wore his heart on his sleeve, and he is remembered for his outspoken nature in defending his strong convictions.

Surviving is a daughter, Christina (Sam) Avis of Brooklyn; son, Matthew Redlin of Adrian; and three grandchildren, Kaleb, Gavin, and Jenna. Tim was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends for visitation at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian, on Thursday, October 3, 2024, beginning at 1:00 p.m. until a funeral service to be held at 3:00 p.m. Pastor Bruce Jewett will officiate.
