Peggy Ann Creel Warr, 73, the loving wife of Nelson Warr, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, September 30, 2024, at her residence.
Peggy was born the daughter of Simon Boyd Creel and Ruby Lee Douglas on September 14, 1951. She enjoyed fishing, singing, and music. She lived a life committed to helping and taking care of those in need. Her greatest pride was being a devoted wife, a loving mother and grandmother, and a cherished sister. She was part of the Crossroads Ministries church family.
Peggy and Nelson were married on May 2, 1973, and shared 50 years together. Their home was blessed with two children, James Nelson “Jamie” Warr of Georgetown and Johnathan “Jonah” Warr (Melissa) on Anderson; and two grandchildren, Jocelyn and Tegan. She is also survived by her sister, Clara Gainey (Karl) and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by: her parents; her siblings, Bo Creel, Luke Elbert Creel, Sr., Joseph “Bunk” Creel, James Alvin Creel, Cecil Creel, Solomon Don Creel, Margaret Zirges, and Susie Morgan.
A Home Going Celebration will be 2PM, Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at Crossroads Ministries of Andrews, 9 US-521 West, Andrews. Officiating will be Pastor Cheryl Lambert and Pastor Becky Tilton. Interment will follow in the Lake Chapel Cemetery, 855 Lake Chapel Road, Johnsonville.
The Warr family will greet family and friends prior to the service from 1-2PM in the church sanctuary.
