Patricia “Pat” Marie Parker-Rowell- Biggs, age 78, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family on September 29, 2024, within view of the homestead where she was born to Jerry and Jeanette Parker in the Dyas community. Pat spent her life caring deeply for her family, all animals that crossed her path, and the natural beauty all around her. Her love for flowers could be seen in the vibrant garden she kept, and her loyal cat Coco was always by her side. 

Pat is survived by her three children: Jimmy (Margaret) Rowell, Annette (Ronald) Griffin, and Jerry (Suzy) Rowell; grandchildren Lucas (Autumn) Rowell and Callie (Stan) Ingram; Cassie, Adrienne, and Russell Wallace and Garett (Allison), Paige, and Emily Griffin; and Ashleigh, Chloe, and Emily Rowell; great-grandchildren: Parker, Roseanna, and Ridge Rowell and Lyla Griffin. Pat is also survived by her niece and lifelong partner-in-crime, Patsy Godwin.  

Pat dedicated many years to her career as a mail carrier, where she formed lasting connections with the community she served. She will be remembered for her kindness, resilience, and nurturing spirit. 
She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Her love, compassion, and strength will live on in the hearts of those she touched. 

Funeral services will be held at Norris Funeral Home in Bay Minette on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. to celebrate her life with Reverend Don Sanks officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday, October 3, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Russell Wallace, Josh Griffith, Lucas Rowell, Parker Rowell, Stan Ingram and Garett Griffin. Alternate pallbearer will be Norris Hall.

The family would like to extend their most sincere thanks to Amy, Nina, and Annie, and also to Springhill Hospice for their skillful care and heartfelt concern in our beloved mama’s final months and moments.  

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to North Baldwin Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 190, Bay Minette, AL 36507 in honor of her love for animals.
