Norma Beatrice (Roper) MacKenzie, 92,  passed away peacefully on September 30, 2024, at Harbourstone Enhanced Care. Born on October 6, 1931, in New Waterford, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Rebecca Roper.

Norma's life was one of warmth, generosity, and unwavering devotion to her family and her faith. Though she was predeceased by her beloved husband Rennie MacKenzie, daughter Noreen, and son Renford, her legacy continues through her loving son, Bruce, and daughter-in-law, Shana. She was a proud grandmother to Audrey (Dave), Allison (Mat), Douglas (Kelsey), Brett (Mika), and Tiffany (Mike), each of whom brought her immense joy. Her great-grandchildren, Dawson, Isaac, Pascal, Darwin, and Elouise, were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Norma's grace and kindness touched many, and her memory will be honored at a celebration of her life scheduled for November 9, 2024, at 11:00 am at McLellan Funeral Home 3188 Plummer Ave, New Waterford. Reverend Duncan Roach officiating. Burial will be in Union Grove Cemetery with a reception to follow at the funeral home. Donations in her memory may be made to the Calvin United Church.
