Brooks, Harry Allan 1940 - 2024

Passed away peacefully at the Welland Hospital on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at the age of 83. Predeceased by his wife Donna. Loving father of Nancy Littel (Frank), Chrissy Brooks, Mark Brooks (Lisa) – children of Shirley Vetrecin. Step-father of Gerald Cormier (Jennifer) – son of Jennifer Cormier; and Tania Fleming – daughter of Donna Owens. Cherished grandfather of Laura Brinks (Daniel), Michael Winger, Gabriel Brooks, Mya Hoekstra; and step grandchildren of Dustin and Dylan Cormier, and Dominic. Great step grandfather of Demi and Damien. Dear brother of Robert Brooks (Qi). Predeceased by his brother Eldon (Gloria) and sister Patricia. Allan will also be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews.

Allan began his career as a nurse at the Welland Hospital. His ability to care for others led him to pursue a career as a paramedic for the next 43 years. Allan enjoyed his yearly visits to Myrtle Beach and once a year trip with his brothers to watch the NASCAR races. He had a great love for his family and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

In keeping with Allan's wishes cremation has taken place. The memorial service will take place on Sunday, October 6th at the Fonthill Baptist Church, 1414 Pelham Street, Fonthill beginning at 12 noon followed by a time of fellowship. The family will gather for a private interment at Fonthill Cemetery on a later date.
