Jacqueline L. (Burns) DiBernardo Kaufman, 92, of Pittsburgh, died peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, September 29, 2024. She was born February 10, 1932 in Atlantic City, NJ, a daughter of the late Robert and Evelyn (Adams) Burns. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved twin sister, Barbara (Burns) Amidon, and her first husband Frank J. DiBernardo. Jackie successfully raised and showed German Shepherd dogs along with her sister Barbara. Together they owned Amber Kennels helping to advance the breed standard. She also worked as a coordinator for the Civil Arbitration Division at the Allegheny County Courthouse for 25 years. Jackie loved her beautiful Pomeranian dog "Beau Brummell", a name she selected because of his style and good looks. She was also fond of Scrabble, Trivial Pursuit, video games and board games. She is survived by her husband Alan Kaufman; children, John S. DiBernardo (Sharon) of Irwin, Diane E. (DiBernardo) Anderson of Irwin, and Christine (DiBernardo) Tappe (Chuck) of Indiana, PA; grandchildren, Jonathan DiBernardo (Cynthia), Sara Anderson, David DiBernardo (Andrea), Zack Anderson (Emily), and CJ, Tristan and Jake Tappe; stepsons, Max and Jon Kaufman; great grandchildren, Audrey, Rhea and Ava.  Friends will be received on Tuesday, October 8th, 2024 from 11:00 am to 12 noon at the Lindsay-Jobe Funeral Home, Inc., 3343 Route 130, PO Box 465, Harrison City, 724-744-2721 where a Memorial Service will be held at 12 noon.
