Lacey Township - Guy W Stryker, 66, of Forked River, NJ passed away suddenly in the early morning hours on September 29, 2024 in Mifflinville, PA. Guy was born on December 16, 1957 to Arthur and Ruth Stryker (Jacobs) of Staten Island NY. Guy was the youngest of three children. Guy is predeceased by his father and mother. Guy was the beloved husband of Linda Chapman Stryker who celebrated 34 years of a lifetime of adventures, happiness and a true love that was made to last forever. Guy leaves behind his two amazing children, Arthur and Jillian, his daughter-in-law Samantha and his three grandsons Austin, Trentyn and Colton.

When Guy was not working, he dedicated his downtime to his son and daughter, coaching and guiding them on what they loved doing as children and that was motocross racing with his son, Art and riding and showing horses with his daughter, Jill. Guy passed away doing what he truly loved doing and that was driving his truck. He was an OTR truck driver for 42 years, the past nine years of which he dedicated driving for a company where he felt like family, not just an employee. Guy had the CB handle of Rocketman. His passion for speed was tremendous - whether he was in his truck, motorcycles, cars or boats - LIFE - if it didn't go fast - he'd figure out a way to change that.

Friends and family are encouraged to visit Layton's Home for Funerals at 250 Lacey Rd in Forked River on Thursday, October 3, 2024 from 2-6pm to pay tribute to a most adventurous life lived. A private cremation to be held Friday October 4, 2024.
