It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Anthony Devon "Tony" Zender on Sunday, September 29, 2024 of complications from Parkinson's disease at the age of 69. Tony was born in Findlay, Ohio August 2, 1955 to Devon and Francis Zender. He was the younger brother of Tom Zender of Carey, Ohio.

Tony attended Carey HS before studying History at Heidelberg and Ohio State University. He went on to pursue a successful sales career with Prudential Insurance from 1976 where he retired in 1996.

Tony married the love of his life Gloria Jean Kelly in July of 1976. The couple raised 4 children, Sarah, Andrea, Amber and Anthony.

Great grandchildren, Ivy Blythe Huelskamp, Nalani Anne Hanson, Sadie Mae Hanson, Violet Blythe Hoover.

Tony will be remembered for his strong will, unwavering determination, the love of golf and love and support for his family.

There will be a gathering of friends at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME of HILLIARD, 5471 Frazell Rd., Thursday, October 3, 2024 from 1-3 PM where memorial service will follow at 3 PM. Pastor Tim Lee officiating.
