Virginia (Jenny) Owens Nichols (82) of Dry Ridge, formerly of Butler, KY, passed away at River Valley Nursing Home on Sunday, September 29, 2024. She was born in Newport, KY on March 10, 1942, daughter to the late Joseph and Mary Hill Owens.

Survivors include her husband Billy Nichols, sons Robby (Chris), Chris (Cheryl), Doug (Julie) Lambert, Greg (Cheryl) Nichols, and Steve (Sharon) Nichols, Daughter Lisa (Javier) Nichols, brothers Billy Joe (Margaret) Owens, Gary (Ronda) Owens, and sister Jackie (John) Messmer, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her cat Babe. In addition to her parents, Jenny is preceded by son Wayne Lambert, daughter Kathy Lambert, and two sisters Janet Courtney and Patricia Lambert.

Visitation will be held 11 am-1 pm Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler, KY. Funeral service will follow at 1 pm also at the funeral home.
