Gellis Minix, age 61, of North Judson, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024. Gellis was born February 12, 1963 in Knox, Indiana to Willard and Marjorie Minix, both deceased. He loved fixing lawn mowers and other small engines and had worked at Mike’s Mower Mart for years, he liked amusement parks, especially the roller coasters, playing his PS2, BBQ’s and family cook-outs and his dogs, his favorite dog was Nova. He is survived by his daughters, Stephanie Villane (Dominic), Michelle Hutton (Austin) and Emrald Brown, a sister, Brenda Conley, a brother, Willard “Bub” Minix Jr., and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Semone Minix, brothers and sisters, Wade Minix, Linda May, Diane Wright and Carla Johnson. A celebration of life ceremony will take place at Full Gospel Assembly Parsonage at 408 S. Portland St., Knox, Indiana at 2:00pm (CT) Friday, October 4, 2024.  No dinner to follow.
