Debra Jane Radcliff, age 65 of Green Camp Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on September 30, 2024 at 5:25am surrounded by her loving family.
Debra was born in Marion, Ohio on October 13, 1958 to the late John Henry and Wilma Jane Sisson. She attended Elgin Local Schools, Graduating in 1978. Deb devoted her life to God and would read her Bible every day. She taught her Grandchildren many verses and songs.
On January 1, 1978, Deb married the love of her life, Robert Radcliff. Together they happily raised three children. They enjoyed watching their grandchildren play games and Legos in the living room. Deb and Robert dedicated many years volunteering with the Green Camp Fire Department and the Green Camp Lions Club. Deb loved being outside watching the deer play in her backyard. You could also find her tending to her flower beds making them look beautiful. If you couldn’t find her, just follow the sound of the mower. In her free time, on the weekends, Deb enjoyed going “junkin” at yard sales with her grand-kids. She’d give them money to spend on things they really didn’t need, but she couldn’t say NO. Deb particularly loved going on the “weekend trips” with her whole family, driving all over the state looking for a fun adventure. Deb really loved going to the Marblehead lighthouse. Deb didn’t know a stranger and would give you her last penny if you needed it. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.
Deb is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years, Robert Radcliff of Green Camp. Her children Sarah Jane (George) Albright; Robert (Stacey) Radcliff and Adam Radcliff. Her grandchildren Christopher Mark “Teddy Bear” Albright, Isabella Jane “Sis” Albright, Bethany Anne “Buffy” Albright, Bradyn John “B” Radcliff and Henry Ray “Baby Boy” Radcliff. Her loving sister Rhonda Chapman, sister-in-law Cha Sisson and her brothers David and Brian Sisson. Loving nephews Johnathan and Logan Chapman, great-nephews Jaden, Jackson, Judson and Jameson Chapman. Special uncles Ellman Lemasters and Joe (Bobbie) Lemasters. Special aunts Mae Hersman and Kathy Crawford. Lifelong best friend Debby Call and her children Ranzel (Kenzie), Shannon (Alicia), Angel and Bryon. Great friends Sharon and Richard Chapman and Peggy Hawkins. Her family at the Green Camp Fire Department that came whenever she needed them (Sam, Jeremy, Jason, Rich and Dillon). A special thank you to the staff of Capital City Hospice that took wonderful care of her.
In addition to her parents, Deb was preceded in death by her brother Johnny Sisson and brother-in-law Robert Chapman beagle Makayla of 17 years.
