Brian D. Lannon of Ellicottville, passed away September 30, 2024 at his residence at the age of 80.


He was born May 13, 1944 in Clifton Springs, NY a son of the late Norman and Frances (Sweet) Lannon. He was a heavy equipment operator for Seneca Meadows in Seneca Falls, NY, and was an avid outdoorsman; loving to go shooting and hunting. He was also a member of the Ellicottville Sportsman Club.


He is survived by his wife, Sheila (Scharf) Ehman-Lannon, whom he married September 16, 2017. He is also survived by his children: Kimberly (Matthew) Howell of Newark, NY, Wendy Allen of Marion, NY, Michelle Lannon of Bella Vista, AR, Jena Hock of Ellicottville, and Erin Ehman of Fredonia; siblings: Daryl (Betty) Lannon, Gary (Mary) Lannon, and Dean (Tina) Lannon; sister-in-law, Mary Lannon; as well as eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.


In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his first wife of over 40 years, Margaret "Peg" Lannon, and his brother, Bruce Lannon.


There will be no prior visitation. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
