Paul Solomon, a man of unwavering kindness and generosity, passed away
peacefully on September 29, 2024, at the age of 73. Paul's life was a
testament to his belief in helping others and leaving the world a better
place than he found it.
Paul's early years laid the foundation for a lifetime of thoughtful
service to his community. He was the beloved son of Vernon and Barbra
Solomon and a cherished brother to Allen Solomon. His late brother
Vernon Solomon and his loving wife Michelle Solomon predeceased him,
leaving a legacy of love and memories that continued to shine through
his actions.
After serving in the United States Army, Paul worked for the United
States Postal Service for 40 years and served as Postmaster before
retiring, a role that allowed him to touch the lives of countless
individuals with his dedication and warmth. His commitment to the USPS
was matched only by his involvement in various associations where he
contributed his time and expertise with unwavering enthusiasm.
Paul's interests were a reflection of his character: simple, yet
profound. His greatest delight was spending time with his grandson,
Isaac Solomon. He found joy in taking jeep rides with him, an activity
that embodied his spirit of adventure and love for the outdoors.
Together with his son Samuel and daughter-in-law Brandi Solomon, Paul
shared countless moments of laughter and learning, passing on his values
and zest for life to the next generation.
Kindness was the cornerstone of Paul's existence. He approached every
person and situation with a thoughtfulness that left a lasting
impression. His generosity knew no bounds, as he was always the first to
offer help, whether it was a listening ear or a helping hand. Paul's
legacy is one of gentle strength, unwavering support, and a heart that
always had room for one more.
As we bid farewell to Paul Solomon, we celebrate a life well-lived,
marked by the countless lives he enriched simply by being himself. He
will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the
pleasure of crossing paths with him.
Paul's life was a journey of joy, compassion, and unwavering
commitment to others. As we reflect on his time with us, we are reminded
of the indelible mark he left on the world, a mark that will continue to
guide and inspire us for years to come. Rest in peace, Papa, knowing
that your legacy will endure through the lives you've touched and the
