It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Alice Dunphy of Parker's Cove announces her passing. Alice passed away at the Blue Crest Nursing Home in Grand Bank on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at the age of 91.

Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her daughter, Sadie Dunphy (Wilson) of Rushoon; grandsons, Dana Murphy and Philip Murphy (Connie); great grandchildren, Avery, Jacob and Noel; great-great-granddaughter, Scarlett Sarah; brother, Joseph Hynes of Rushoon; sisters-in-law, Carmelita Hynes of St. John's and Mary Hynes of St. Bernard's; plus a large number of relatives and friends.

Alice was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Dunphy; parents, Sarah & Steven Hynes; sisters, Clara Smith (Leonard), Rita Hynes (Chesley) and Martha Hynes (Humbert); brothers, Leo Hynes, Clayton Hynes, Patrick Hynes (Francis) and Peter Hynes; and sister-in-law, Myrtle Hynes.
