Kevin Lloyd Wilhelm, 70, of New Cordell, Oklahoma formerly of Sayre, Oklahoma was born on August 19, 1954 in Mangum, Oklahoma. He is the son of James Robert "Jim Bob" and Uvelda Marlene (Weldon) Wilhelm. He went to be with Jesus, on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at Cordell Nursing and Rehab, New Cordell, Oklahoma.

He attended school in Gould and graduated from Gould High School class of 1972. Kevin served in the Oklahoma National Guard from 1971 until his honorable discharge in 1977. He married the love of is life, Delorese Bollinger in December 1998. She preceded him in death.

Kevin, enjoyed being outside, you could find him breaking horses, riding horses or even shoeing them. He enjoyed dancing, quail hunting and had a great knack for being an awesome story teller. He loved spending time with his friends and family especially watching his grandson, Rece.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Richard and Tammy Dugger and the staff of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Elk City, Oklahoma.

Cherishing his memory is his daughter, Sara Jo Wilhelm of New Cordell, Oklahoma; two brothers; Terry Wilhelm and his wife Ava of Moore, Oklahoma, Robert Wilhelm of Columbia, Tennessee; one grandson Rece Wilhelm and his fiance Jillian Bonewitz of Edmond, Oklahoma; great-grandson Emerson Wilhelm of Edmond, Oklahoma.

Kevin is preceded in death by his wife, Delorese; parents Jim Bob and Uvelda Wilhelm.
