Kanaan Elias "Kenny" Fraifer, a cherished patriarch and cornerstone of his family, passed peacefully in Roslindale, formerly of Lebanon, on September 29, 2024, at the age of 92. Born on August 20, 1932, in Bakarzla, Lebanon, Kenny's life was a testament to love, hard work, and devotion to his loved ones.

Kenny was the beloved husband of the late Sadie (Abomoosa) Fraifer, with whom he shared 63 years of marriage until her passing in 2002. Together, they embarked on a journey of love, resilience, and family, a bond that remained unbroken through the years. He was a devoted father to Theresa Saghbini and her husband Joseph of Medway, Madeline Kazis and her husband Elias of Norwood, Johnny Kanaan and his wife Khadija Sayar-Fraifer of Franklin, and Assia Chamoun of Townsend. As a loving brother, he will be fondly remembered by Laurice Asfour of Dedham, Samir Fraifer and his wife Layla of Montreal, Canada, and Youssef Fraifer and his wife Adla of Lebanon.

Kenny's legacy continues through his adoring grandchildren, Rocco, Johnny, George, Mary, Johnny, Amanda, Alex, Annabelle, and Iyad, who will forever cherish the memories of their "Jido." His joy was multiplied with the birth of each great-grandchild, Anthony, Rocco, Angelo, Sadie, Dorian, and Ana Noel. Kenny's life was further enriched by the love and company of many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends, all of whom survive him and will hold his memory dear.

Before embracing the American dream, Kenny dedicated 25 years of his life to serving in the Lebanese Army. In 1975, he made the bold decision to move to America, bringing his wife and four children, the youngest being only two years old, to seek new opportunities. Kenny's work ethic was unparalleled; he took on the role of a welder for a Metal Company, among other jobs, grinding and hustling tirelessly to provide for his family. His dedication to his work was only paralleled by his dedication to his family.

Kenny's interests were as diverse as they were passionate. A true car enthusiast, he took great pride in his collection, which included 2 Trans Am cars among many others over the years. His love for his homeland never waned, and he often traveled back to Lebanon to reconnect with his roots and family. Celebrating life's moments, Kenny cherished all holidays, hosting gatherings for every occasion. Easter was a special time when he would lovingly prepare a lamb on a spit, sharing the feast with his family.

Above all, Kenny was a true family man, mostly adored by his family for whom he would do anything. The words loving, kind, and selfless are etched into the hearts of those who knew him, as they encapsulate the essence of his being. His selflessness knew no bounds, and his kindness touched all corners of his world.

Kenny's life was a living example of love in action, and his passing leaves a void that can never be filled. Yet, his spirit will live on in the countless lives he touched and the family he adored. As we bid farewell to Kanaan Elias "Kenny" Fraifer, we celebrate a life well-lived, a journey marked by unwavering commitment to family, and a legacy that will continue to inspire generations to come.
