William J. Roberts, 85, died Sunday, September 29, 2024.

Born in Jersey City, he lived in Kearny since 1974.

William proudly served for over 20 years in the United States Army. He served mainly overseas and in Vietnam before being honorably discharged as a captain in 1968.

He was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post # 1302, the Marine Corps League West Hudson Detachment, and the American Legion Post # 99 all of Kearny.

William was the beloved husband of Ingrid Roberts ( nee Seeliger ); and the cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the Visitation at the Parow Funeral Home 185 Ridge Rd., North Arlington on Thursday, October 3rd from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. thence to Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington for the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Cremation Private.
