Opal Moye Bush, 90, of Newton died Sunday, September 29, 2024 at her residence in Newton.
Graveside funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 4 at Live Oak Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Born December 15, 1933 in Baker County, Mrs. Bush was the daughter of the late Thomas Eldred Moye, Sr. and Montreal Lola Tucker Moye. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Wathal Bush, Sr. and two brothers, Ted Moye and Hayden Moye. She was a homemaker and a member of Live Oak Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Marsha B. Waters of Irmo, SC; a son, C. Wathal Bush (Candi) of Newton; two brothers, Robert Moye of Chattanooga, TN and T.E. Moye (Evera) of Newton; one sister, Joan Hilliard (John) of Pembroke; grandchildren, Thomas Wathal Bush, Admiral Dewey Waters, IV (Emily), Catherine Louise Bush De Bortoli (Ryan); great grandchildren, William De Bortoli, Sullivan De Bortoli and Admiral Dewey Waters, V.
