Marlene May Goff, age 81, of Raccoon, KY, passed from this life, Wednesday, September 25, 2024, surrounded by her family. Marlene was born in Pike County, KY, June 24, 1943, to the late Ireland and Edith Justice May.

In addition to both parents, Marlene is preceded in death by her husband, Burton Goff; sister, Hilma Arnett; and brothers, Charles May, Donald May, and LJ May.

Marlene is survived by her devoted children, Kathy D. Goff, Charles Burton (Michelle) Goff, Pamela (Roger) West, and Michelle Goff; grandchildren, Ashley (Beau) Richardson, Valerie (Brad) White, and Sierra West; great grandchildren, Aubree White and Peyton White; and sisters, Ocie (George T.) Goff and Virgie (Dennis) Maynard; along with a loving host of family and friends.

Marlene will be missed greatly by everyone who knew and loved her.

The family will accept friends at Thacker Memorial Funeral Home, Friday, September 27, 2024, from 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM and Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM with services nightly at 7:00 PM. Funeral services for Marlene will be Sunday, September 29, 2024, at 1:00 PM, at the Raccoon Primitive Baptist Church on Raccoon. Burial will follow at the Goff Varney Family Cemetery on the left fork of Fifty-Eight Branch, Raccoon. Primitive Baptist ministers will officiate over all services for Marlene.
