Hannah Marie Davis was a resident of Scottsburg, Indiana. She was born abroad in La Louviere, Belgium and lived in Portugal, Maryland, and New Jersey. She is the mother of Isabella and Lilliana Davis. She is survived by her parents, Magali and Kenneth Davis, her sister and brother-in-law Madison and Justin Jones. She was killed in an automobile accident on September 23rd, 2024. She was preceded in death by her fiancé and father of Lilliana, Nathanial Rausch, 5 years prior on September 22, 2019. They will be buried together with a portion of his ashes placed in her coffin. Hannah was a graduate of Anne Arundel High School, in Gambrills Maryland. She graduated a year early and was accepted to Purdue University, but chose to attend at Indiana University Southeast with her sister. She was only a few classes shy of completing her bachelor’s degree with the hope of entering the mental health career field to assist people with trauma recovery. She taught children at Lil’ Treasures Child Care & Preschool for 9 years while attending school and caring for her two daughters as a single mother. She loved her children desperately and shared that love with dozens of children in Scott County. She also coached cheerleading at Vienna-Finley Elementary School for two years. A graveside service will take place at Zoah Christian Church Cemetery, Wednesday, October 2nd at 3:00. Afterwards we will congregate at The Ruby Loft that she helped create. Feel free to come and go throughout the afternoon and evening. In lieu of flowers, an educational fund will be created for the girls moving forward.
