Suzanne Driggers Obituary

Suzanne "Sue" Driggers, born February 20, 1938 in Deport, Texas, was the beloved only child of Sarah and Ford Baughn. She passed away September 16, 2024, at her home, surrounded by family and friends.

Sue lived life to the fullest, remaining active until the end. She enjoyed skiing last winter and was fly-fishing just weeks before her passing. She is survived by her four children, Patrick, Angela, Teresa, and Retta, along with the spouses, six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Sue is also survived by her two stepchildren and their families.

For the past 40 years, Sue shared her life with her late husband, Jack. Together, they were devoted members of their church, serving as ski ambassadors on Snowmass Mountain, and fly-fishing guides throughout the Roaring Fork Valley. Known for her warm smile, quick wit, and generous spirit, Sue touched the lives of her church family, neighbors, tourists, and the broader community.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 5, at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Church of the Roaring Fork Valley. All are welcome to attend.
