Eva Maria Elsbeth McCoy, 82, passed away at St. Francis Hospital on September 21, 2024.

The family will have a Celebration Of Life at a later date according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.

Eva was born on August 1, 1942 in Berlin Germany to the late Bruno Trendel and Charlotte Beissert Trendel.  During her career in management for various retail facilities, she was able to make long lasting friendships with many of her customers.  In 1993, she proudly became an American citizen.  Eva had a passion for playing puzzle games, caring for her animals, and cherishing time with her granddaughters.  A devoted history enthusiast, she found joy in learning about the past.  Her family will forever be grateful for the love and strength she gave them throughout her life.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Marion Russell McCoy, Jr. Survivors include her husband, Marion Russell McCoy, Sr. Sons: Michael McCoy (Julie) of Midland, GA and Mitchell McCoy (Ashley) of Crestwood, KY.  Brother: Peter Trendel (Sharon) of Chicago, IL. Granddaughters: Leah McCoy and Kenna McCoy both of Midland, GA.
