Mr. Mack Dallas Johnson, age 85, of Crumpler passed away Tuesday night, September 24, 2024 at Ashe Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 2:00pm at Divine Hope Baptist Church with Pastor David Blevins and rev. Lloyd Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Ashelawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00pm on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Divine Hope Baptist Church.

Mr. Johnson was born in Ashe County on September 30, 1938 to the late Vance and Sally Sturgill Johnson. He retired from Gate’s Rubber Company and then he sold used cars at J & W Motors, Radio Hill Sales and Lewis Auto Sales. He was devoted member of Divine Hope Baptist Church. Mack always had a smile on his face and was a friend to all.

Mr. Johnson is survived by: a son, Mack Johnson (Donna), of Crumpler; a step daughter, Kathrine Banks, of Lawrence, Kansas; a sister, Irene Baldwin (Crick), of Jefferson; several nieces and nephews also survive.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Divine Hope Baptist Church, PO Box 594, West Jefferson, NC 28694.
