Maysville-Ronald E. Hargett, 76, died Monday Septemer 23, 2024 at Kenton Pointe Care Center in Maysville, KY. He was born in Bracken County, KY on July 9, 1948 to the late Harold and Virginia Lippert Hargett. He was a member of St. Patrick Church, a KY Colonel, and a lifelong farmer who received many awards and recognitions for his efforts and contributions to the farming community.


He is survived by his wife, Patricia Cropper Hargett, whom he married July 15, 1967; their daughters, Cynthia Reynolds of Maysville, KY, Barbara (Matthew) Appleman of Augusta, KY, Kelly (Chris) Hutt of Taylorsville, KY, and Rhonda (Brent) Cornett of London, KY.


He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jonathan Reynolds, Casey Appleman, Mandie Appleman, Trevor Hutt, Jarrod Cornett, Wade Hutt, Miranda Cornett, Hannah Reynolds, and Zuella Reynolds; his great-grandchildren, Bella McRoberts, Mia Appleman and Eden Reynolds; and his sisters, Vivian Bethune of GA, Brenda Kiskaden, Pam Redden, and Theresa McDowell all of Maysville, KY.


Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dickie Hargett.


Funeral service will be at 11:00am on Thursday September 26, 2024 at St. Patrick Church in Maysville, KY. Burial will be at St. Patrick Cemetery.


Visitation will be 4:00pm-7:00pm Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Moore and Parker Funeral Home in Maysville, KY.
