Maysville-Roy Mitchell Hughes, 67, passed away Monday, September 23, 2024. He was born on September 15, 1957 to the late Roy Calvin and Rosemary (Tucker) Hughes. He was a member of Germantown Christian Church and a past member of the Volunteer Lewisburg Fire Department in his young years. He retired from Browning Manufacturing. He is survived by his wife, Denna (Florence) Hughes; his daughter, Hillary (Brad Pritchard) Hughes and his son, Michael (Heather) Hughes; six grandchildren, Kirstyn Gulley, Abby Hughes, Cameron Pritchard, Dylan Hughes, Luke Hughes, and Keegan Pritchard; two sisters, Bessie Berry and Donna Pollitt and a half-brother, Ernie Hughes. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by nine sisters. Funeral will be 1 pm on Friday at Moore & Parker Funeral Home in Maysville. Burial will be at Wedonia Cemetery.
