Nettie Lee (Aldridge) Williams was called to her heavenly home September 21, 2024, at the age of 92. Nettie was born March 15, 1932, to Wyatt and I.V. (Chandler) Aldridge in Tallapoosa, GA. She was a graduate of McHenry High School. On February 9, 1953, she married John Elbert Williams Jr. The two were married 57 years, before he passed in 2010. Nettie was a long-time member of LaBelle Heights Baptist Church. She joyfully served, for many years, in the church nursery, where her love for children shined through.

Nettie was preceded in death by her husband, sister Virginia Richerson, son David Williams, daughter Diane Stephens, and grandson Stephen Tavizon. She is survived by her brother T.J. Aldridge, daughter Debbie (Terry) Southern, son Tim (Kristy) Williams, grandchildren Cory (Tina) Fisher, Heather (Stephen) Holloway, Jason Williams, Josh (Stephanie) Williams, Jenny (Rhett) Brenner and 11 great-grandchildren

Services will be held, graveside, at noon, Saturday September 28, 2024, at Floyd Memory Gardens, 895 Cartersville Hwy SE, Rome, GA 30161.
