He was born on February 9, 1950, in Blackshaw Moor/Leek, Staffordshire, England, a son of the late Paul and Eugenia Fryda Porembski.
Walter emigrated from England to the United States and Youngstown with his parents and sister in 1951. He loved animals and family gatherings; he enjoyed watching family sporting events and was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State Buckeyes. Walter was always available to help when family or friends needed him. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
