OREGON - Joshua Michael Mulhern, age 19, of Oregon, passed away on Monday, Sept. 16, 2024. He was born on Aug. 21, 2005, in Madison, Wis., the son of Kiel Mulhern and Katie McGaw. Joshua attended Rocky Mountain High School in Meridian, Idaho, and recently moved back to the Madison area.

Josh was a vibrant spirit whose love for the outdoors was matched only by his passion for adventure. Whether camping under the stars, hiking through serene trails, fishing by the water, or biking along scenic paths, he found his happiest moments immersed in nature’s beauty.

As a devoted big brother, Josh took immense pride in his role, always prioritizing his sisters above all else. His selflessness shone through in the countless walks they shared and the joyful playtime spent at parks or home. He cherished his sisters deeply, creating lasting memories that will forever warm their hearts.

Josh had a remarkable affinity for animals, effortlessly bonding with creatures of all kinds. His gentle nature and compassionate heart made him a friend to every furry companion he encountered.

In his professional life, Josh found fulfillment as a mover, relishing the opportunity to help others care for their cherished belongings. His innate athleticism was especially evident on the football field, where he excelled and inspired younger friends and family members. He took great joy in sharing his skills and knowledge, fostering a love for the game in those around him.

A true people-person, Josh never hesitated to approach others with a smile and a handshake, eager to forge connections. He was actively involved in his community, volunteering his time with senior citizens and always ready to lend a helping hand. His generous spirit and willingness to give the shirt off his back to those in need made a lasting impact on everyone he met.

Josh's legacy of kindness, love, and adventure will forever be cherished by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
