Joseph F. Marcelli, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2024, in Marlton, at the age of 90. Born in Philadelphia, Joseph's life was a testament to the power of love, family, and dedication.
Beloved husband to the late Marianna (nee Cufaro), with whom he shared a lifetime of love and laughter. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Maribeth Marcelli Geiger (Eric) and Joseph V. Marcelli (Lisa), who in turn blessed Joseph with the joy of being a grandfather to Oliva, Cate, Leah, Maggie Rose, Michael, Emily, Nick, and Ava. Joseph will also missed by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A respected business owner, Joseph co-owned East Coast Salon Services in Runnemede, NJ, where his entrepreneurial spirit and friendly demeanor were well-known. He cherished spending time with his family above all else, creating countless memories that they will hold dear forever. An avid sports enthusiast, both playing and watching, with a particular passion for the Philadelphia Phillies and playing tennis. His love for hot food was only matched by his sweet tooth, with ice cream being his dessert of choice. In his later years, Joseph found pleasure in the daily ritual of reading and solving crossword puzzles, a testament to his ever-curious and sharp mind.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Saturday September 28th from 10-10:45 AM at the Catholic Church of St. Mary, 2001 Springdale Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11AM Saturday at the church. Inurnment to follow at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to charity of your choice.
