Stacey Marie Huff, age 41, left this world unexpectedly on September 16, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love. Born on March 27, 1983, to Thomas Huff and Johnna (Stewart) Huff, Stacey lived her life with her heart wide open, embracing each moment with warmth, kindness, and a sense of adventure.
Her greatest pride and joy were her daughters, Charity, born in 2005, and Charlee, born in 2021. To Stacey, motherhood was not just a role, it was her very reason for being. Every day, she poured her heart into her girls, giving them not just love, but a sense of purpose and joy. Her love for them was boundless, and she embraced every moment of their lives with pride and devotion.
To her nieces and nephews, Stacey was much more than an aunt—she was their fun-loving, free-spirited “cool aunt”—who always made every moment special. Whether it was hosting a spontaneous sleepover, grabbing sandwiches at Subway, or making everyone laugh with her playful antics—like claiming she was allergic to yellow candy and country music—Stacey’s presence brought joy. She had a knack for lighting up a room with her laughter and mischievous spirit.
She had everything you might ever need—from zip ties to Velcro and shoes to clothes (so many clothes)—and was always willing to help others. Her giving nature and kind spirit touched so many lives, and her presence made everything a little brighter. Stacey’s heart was generous and loyal, always showing up for those she loved. Her ever-changing hair color and expansive wardrobe were just another reflection of the creative, vibrant soul she had.
Her absence leaves an immeasurable void, especially for her beloved daughters and family. Yet, the love and laughter she shared will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Though she was taken too soon, her spirit, her love, her laughter, and her generous soul will be carried forward by those who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Eldon and Wanda (Biddlecome) Huff; her maternal grandfather, Bill Greer; her father, Thomas Huff; and her stepmother, Rebecca Elliston. Stacey leaves behind a family that adored her, including her daughters, Charity and Charlee Huff; her mother, Johnna (Huff) Stewart; and stepfather, Edward Stewart; her maternal grandmother, Jane Parks; her sisters, Nikki Edwards (James), Jamie Ehlers (Seth), and Jinger Wright (Jerry); her stepsister, Chandelle Frakes (Caleb); as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
Stacey’s love, laughter, and unwavering devotion will forever be remembered. Though we will miss her beyond measure, her spirit remains with us always, in every heart she touched.
