<p>Oscar Jenkins was born on April 24, 1944, in Boston, Massachusetts. He was the 3rd of 4 children. Born to Andrew and Irene Jenkins. His parents, one brother, Charles Jenkins, and one sister Florence Smith preceded him in death.</p><p><br></p><p>Oscar relocated from Boston to Cincinnati, Ohio, then graduated from Central High. After graduating from high school. He enlisted and served in the United States Navy. He then was employed by General Electric Aerospace as a Machinist, retiring after 44 years of dedicated work.</p><p><br></p><p>Oscar was a member of the Episcopal Church and later baptized as a 7th Day Adventist Member. While attending the Adventist Church, he became a Pathfinder Counselor. Oscar found great joy hiking and survival camping with the Pathfinders.</p><p><br></p><p>Oscar also enjoyed many other activities such as tennis, golf, fishing, and traveling. He enjoyed photography as a hobby, which led to him becoming a professional photographer. He was exceptionally talented.</p><p><br></p><p>Oscar was a selfless man all his life, helping and giving to others. He was chivalrous, a true gentleman and was loved by all those he encountered.</p><p><br></p><p>It was a blessing that he shared his life with us. He will always be remembered.</p><p><br></p><p>Oscar leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Marilyn Jenkins of Cincinnati, Ohio; from his first marriage, two sons Sean Jenkins of Decator, Georgia and Ronald Jenkins (Shynita) of Cincinnati, Ohio; daughter Bernice Benning of Cincinnati, Ohio; sister Andrea Skyles (Peter) of Lansing, Michigan; grandson Carter Tenbrink of Cincinnati, Ohio; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.</p><p><br></p>

Obituary
