Connie J. Wilson Obituary

Our beloved wife, mother, and Nana, Connie Jane Wilson, passed away at the age of 76.  She was born May 2, 1948 in Rupert, Idaho to Emma and Ervin Daniel, and passed away on September 16, 2024 in Emmett, Idaho surrounded by her family.

She was born and raised in Rupert, Idaho.   Connie and Dean built a home in Rupert where they raised their three beautiful children.  Their home was the place where they hosted countless family dinners, 4th of July celebrations, and sleepovers for all their children and friends.  It wasn't uncommon to have 10-15 kids there every weekend.  Their home was the place to be. Connie had never moved from Rupert until 1991 when they moved to the Boise area and then most recently to Emmett.

Connie married C Dean Wilson on October 3, 1964 in Ketchum, Idaho.   Connie always wanted a church wedding, and they were able to fulfill that dream when they renewed their vows on their 40th wedding anniversary.   They were weeks away from their 60th Wedding Anniversary.

She worked a variety of jobs throughout her life and the most fulfilling for her was when she was able to work in the school food service and be surrounded by her own children and many others that "adopted" her as their mom.  Connie retired from Micron in 2017.

She was the most giving and kind person we were blessed to love and be loved by.  She loved deeply and unconditionally.  She never asked for anything in return.  In fact, when we asked her what she wanted for her birthday one year she said she didn't need or want anything so...she got a goldfish.

Preceded in death by her mother; Emma Flowers; father, Ervin Daniel; brother, Larry Lee and sister Sherry Kay, who was also her best friend.

Survived by her spouse of 60 years, Dean; children, Rhonda (Craig) Collins, Tonia (Randale) Overton-Finch, and Travis (Leonya Nasso) Wilson; siblings, Linda (Lanny) Morgan, Beverly (David) Gallegos, Steve (Linda) McMillan, Randy (Yvonne) Daniel, Debbie (Mark) Grigg, Laurie (Bill) Dent, Teresa (Mark) Allen, Danny Flowers, Tammy (Brian) Bell; 10 grandchildren, Keagan (NaToshia), Lucas (Zoe), Taylor (Johanna), Katy, Aubrie, Soren, Siena, Richard (Alyssa), Chris (Maleenia), Ashley (Mikey); 12 great grandchildren, Cheyanne, Rileigh, Everett, Stevie, Aiden, Ryan, Elizabeth, Josephine, Autumn, Ezekiel, Noah, and Peter; and a number of cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on September 28, 2024 at the Calvary Chapel in Emmett, Idaho at 11:00 AM
