Frank C. Lamb, our loving husband, brother, father and grandfather passed away peacefully on September 16, 2024, in Richland, Washington, surrounded by his family.
Frank was born January 12, 1943, in Opportunity, Washington, to Harold and Roberta (Bobbie) Beatie Lamb.
Frank lived in Mesa, Washington until his family moved to Ellensburg in 1954 where Frank started 6th grade and graduated from Ellensburg High School in 1961.
The Lamb family farmed, raising beef cattle and hay in Ellensburg. When Frank lived in Kennewick, he bought a place with enough acreage to raise a few head of beef cattle himself, even though he did not take on the career of being a fulltime farmer. He raised such good beef people were on a wait list too have some.
He married the love of his life Mary in May of 1994. Frank loved to travel and pretty much traveled the world. He spent most of his travel time in Mexico and Hawaii, always traveling with family or friends.
Frank was owner of Washington Collectors and was involved in many, many organizations. Frank held elected executive positions in local, state and district levels of the International Consumer Credit Association, Washington Collectors Association, where he was President from 1998 to 1999, Tri-Cities Credit Association and the Consumer Credit Counseling Service. He was a Society of Credit Executives fellow and awarded "Boss of the Year," "Credit Individual of the Year," in addition to Presidential recognition for "Achievements in National Credit Week and Credit Education in the Schools." During his 55 plus years in the credit industry he was a driving force improving the credit industry through legislation and education for the business community and consumers alike. Frank also served on the finance committee at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, as well as Trios, and he was a Shriner & a member of Pasco Kiwanis.
Family came first for Frank and he loved every moment he spent with them! His family was truly his world! He was a supporter of his kid's and grandkid's endeavors. He was such a strong and positive influence on all of us.
Frank is survived by his wife Mary, his sister Claudia Lofstrom, brother-in-law Richard Lofstrom, one brother Randy Lamb, two daughters, Amy (Jeremy) Grillo and Tanya Lamb and one son Sean Lamb. He has eight grandchildren, Kylie Weber, Taylor (Jonah) Wilcott, Caiden Carroll, Railey Lamb, Jaylin Lamb, Chase Grillo, Garrett Grillo and Tyson Grillo.
