Joan P. Van Demark, a resident of Batavia, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024, at the age of 82. She was the mother of Phillip Todd Van Demark and William Derek Van Demark. Stepmother of Greg Alan Van Demark, Timothy Van Demark, and Grant Lee Van Demark. Grandmother of Isabella Van Demark, Frankie Ann Van Demark, Jayden Van Demark, Rayshawn Van Demark, Brandon Reeves, James Van Demark, Richard Van Demark, Jennifer Van Demark, Tommy Van Demark, Jeff Van Demark, Bridget Van Demark, Ashton Van Demark, Arika Pennghtion, Aron Van Demark, Tyler Van Demark, Dylan Van Demark, Nikkie Van Demark, and Brandon Van Demark. Great-grandmother of Elijah Hill, Landon Van Demark, Evelyn Rose Drew, Ariah Bole, and Spencer Reeves. She is also survived by her brother Michael Abrams. Joan was preceded in death by her parents: Paul and Rosemary Abrams.

A graveside service for Joan will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, on Monday September 23, 2024, at 11:00 AM.
