Lloyd Dean Moseman was born on February 15, 1928, near Oakland, Nebraska, at the farm of August and Frieda (Meyer) Moseman. He passed away on September 18, 2024, at Oakland Heights in Oakland.

Lloyd attended rural Rock School near his parents' farm and graduated from Oakland High School.

Lloyd married Betty Uehling of Uehling, Nebraska, in 1950. After their wedding, they operated a farm north of Swaburg and later also one north of Oakland.

Lloyd was an elected board member of the Nebraska Educational Service Unit #2 for many years.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his daughter, Leah Osuch; his parents; his sister, Arla Jean Landholm; and his brothers, Willmer and Vernolt.

Survivors include his wife, Betty of Oakland; son and daughter-in-law, Gregg and Jackie (Paulson) Moseman of McKinney, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Kelvin and Judy (Roath) Moseman of Mineral Wells, Texas.
