Mary-Ellen Lumpkin of Enfield, CT, passed away on September 8, 2024, at 83. Mary-Ellen was born to the late Tucker D. Lumpkin and Willie Belle Lumpkin on February 11, 1941, in New Britain, CT.
She graduated from New Britain Senior High school and attended Howard University in Washington, DC. The last few years of her life, she resided at Parkade Pavilion Rehabilitation Center in Enfield, CT. She leaves to cherish her memory her sister; Ferne Lumpkin) Anderson of Bloomfield, CT., and many other relatives throughout Connecticut and the United States.
A celebration of her life will take place on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Howard K. Hill Funeral Services, 94 Granby St., Bloomfield, CT. Family and friends are welcome to the viewing at 1:00 PM with service starting at 2:00 PM. Repast will follow at Elizabeth’s Bar and Restaurant at 774 Park Avenue in Bloomfield, CT. Interment is private.
