Eugene R. Casey Obituary
Eugene Rayfield Casey, born on June 24, 1935 passed away at 89 years old after a brief illness on September 16, 2024. Eugene was one of fifteen children born to Joseph and Theresa Casey (nee Sweeney) in Brooklyn, NY. Eugene moved to Jersey City as a young child. Eugene served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was the owner of Katz Hardware in the Marion section of Jersey City for many years. Predeceased by his wife, Lilian and survived by his three children Scott Casey, Karen La Barbera and Dawn Sauer. Also, survived by his brother Alex, four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass will be held TBD.
