Barbara (Bonnie) A. Heilman of Trumansburg, formerly of Brick NJ, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024.

Bonnie was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey on September 6, 1956, a daughter of the late William and Barbara (Bulger) Horn and was raised in Millburn, New Jersey alongside her 6 siblings.

A student at St. Rose of Lima School in Short Hills New Jersey, she graduated from Millburn High School, followed by a long career in office administration and bookkeeping. Bonnie spent time in the sun and the snow with family and friends.  Loving the sun most of all, she could be found happily soaking up the rays whenever possible.

She is survived by her son, William (Brandee Nicholson) Heilman; sisters, Beth Palumbo and Bridget Horn; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her partner, Alan Salk; and brothers, Billy, Brian, Bobby, and Bruce Horn.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Bonnie’s memory to your local animal shelter.
