Kathyrn (Tice) Montgomery Bottom was born September 29th, 1933 in Dalhart, Texas to Katie Leona (Garver) and Clyde Tice, Sr. She passed away on Monday, September 16th, 2024 in Amarillo, Texas at the age of 90 years, 11 months and 18 days.

At a young age she moved with her family to Yuma, Arizona and later to Salinas, California before returning to Reydon, Oklahoma where she spent her high school days graduating from Reydon High School in 1951. Shortly after graduation, she was married to R.L. "Pat" Montgomery in July of that same year. Together they made their home northwest of Reydon where they farmed and ranch while raising their family. They welcomed 2 children into the world, Cherel Rae and Raymond Leon. Kathyrn furthered her education at LPN school in 1969 where she obtained her nursing certifications. She found employment at Cheyenne Memorial Hospital where she served for close to 20 years and was later Dr. Buster's nurse for over 10 years. Following the death of her husband, Pat, she was later married to Ben Bottom at Reydon, Oklahoma. They continued to make their home in Reydon until his passing in 2015. After Ben's death, Kathryn remained in the Reydon community until 2022 when she moved to Canyon, Texas to be near her family. Kathyrn's primary focus in life was her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and serving as a piano player, teaching childrens Bible class and church secretary. She also enjoyed gardening, yard work, trips back to Reydon, and spending time with her friends, family, and especially her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; both husbands, Pat Montgomery and Ben Bottom; infant daughter, Carolyn Montgomery; son, Raymond Leon Montgomery; 3 siblings, Clyde Tice, Jr., Wanda Matthews, and Ronald Tice.

Kathyrn is survived by her daughter, Cherel Park and husband, Leon, Canyon, TX; 4 grandchildren, Lisa Lightfoot and husband, Brent, Canyon, TX, Brian Park and wife, Erin, Canyon, TX, Brittani Baker and husband, Ronnie, Cheyenne, OK, Bailee Wadsworth and husband, Dustin, Eufaula, OK; 11 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
