Joseph Cantrell Obituary

Joseph Cantrell, 38 of Fort Thomas, Ky, passed away on September 16 2024. He is survived by his wife Meredith: Children, Kylee and Grayson, Father Joseph, Brother James (Katie), and Niece Lainey Cantrell. Joseph was born in Pasadena,Texas and grew up in Goshen, Ky. He was gifted in wrestling and football through high school. He graduated from North Oldham High school in 2004. He lived in Lexington, Ky for a year in 2016 where he made countless friends and met his wife. He married his wife, Meredith, in 2022. Together they lived with their 2 children Kylee (11) and Grayson (3) in Fort Thomas, KY. He was a Skilled interior and exterior painter, and was growing his own painting business. He was a die-hard Louisville Cardinals fan. He Loved sports, playing poker, and dominoes. He was passionate about collecting sneakers and sports cards. He deeply loved his wife and children. Joey was incredibly personable, likable, and kind hearted. He made friends everywhere he went. He attended 7Hills Church in Florence, Ky, and had a strong relationship with God. He was devoted to helping others who were struggling, whenever he possible could, always willing to stick out his hand. Joey will be deeply missed by all who knew loved him. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 19th from 3-8 PM, followed by a Funeral service on September 20th at 2 PM at Stoess Funeral Home in Crestwood. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Kylee and Grayson's education fund on Meredith's Venmo
