Scott P. Bellman Obituary

Scott Bellman, 42, Minot, passed away Monday, September 16, 2024, at Trinity Hospital in Minot.

Scott Patrick Bellman was born March 22, 1982, in Baltimore, Maryland. He was raised and educated in Baltimore attending Colgate Elementary School, Holabird Middle School, and Dundalk High School while also attending Sollers Pointe Tech High School. He graduated in 2000.

Following high school graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force in 2001 as a Lieutenant where he flew fighter planes. He was medically discharged in 2001 due to a car accident. After the accident he worked as a prison guard, bounty hunter, at Comcast, a few banks, and Delta solutions as a contractor.

Scott met Jami Gebhardt in 1996 on MIRC in Tala’s_Tavern. There was an instant friendship from the start. In 2011 they met in person for the first time. Scott said meeting Jami was like coming home, he knew by her ND swagger she was the one for him. He moved to Minot in 2012. Scott and Jami married on a Carnival Cruise on June 8, 2014. They made their home in Minot where Scott worked at the 791st Missile Wing on the Minot Air Force Base. In May 2024, he began working at Sentrillion.

He was a member of the Free Masons. Scott enjoyed Dungeon and Dragons and was an amazing DM; he had a list of people waiting to sit at his table. He liked to read, write, hunt, and play video games and RP on MIRC. He was an air soft weapons enthusiast. His chosen family was incredibly important to him, especially his wife. Scott was an amazing person who was always happy and positive. He was incredibly smart, and he loved to share what he knew with others. Scott would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He will be incredibly missed by those who loved him.

His loving family includes: wife of 10 years, Jami; mother-in-law, Cindy Gebhardt; brothers, Nathan Bellman Sr. and his children, Nathan Bellman Jr., Maeson Bellman, Eathan Bellman, Mariah Bellman, Rodney, Ernie, Storm; sisters, Heather Marie (Robert John Knudsen) Gray and their children, Henry Brexton Knudsen and Kegan Scott Knudsen; Renee Bellman and her children, Ciara Bellman and Cora Bellman; and numerous cousins.
