After a courageous battle, surrounded by her loving family Michelina Raymond passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024 at the age of 69. Beloved wife of Bob Raymond for 40 years. Michelina leaves behind cherished memories with her daughter Grace (Kris) Cheshire. She was the proud Nonna of Landon and Levi Cheshire. Devoted daughter of Rosa and the late Gerry Iannacchino. Dear sister of Josephine (Virgil Perrella), Gaetana (Bob Murphy) and Sam Iannacchino.

Michelina's passions included cooking, camping, Italian music, and walks with her best friend. Above all, she treasured the time spent with her family.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 827 East Main St., Welland, on Thursday, September 19, 2024, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 20 at 11:00 a.m. at The Parish Community of St. Kevin 303 Niagara Street, Welland. Cremation to follow. As an expression of sympathy donations made to Juravinski Cancer Centre and Hotel Dieu Shaver would be greatly appreciated by the family.
