Joyce Elaine Main

Joyce Elaine Main, 82, of Parker City, IN, passed away September 16, 2024, peacefully at Parker Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. Joyce was born on July 22, 1942, a daughter of the late Mary Francis (Rollison) and Harlen Orville Lindsey. She was a dedicated homemaker and the loving wife of the late James L. Main, who she happily married on September 18, 1960, and sadly lost on March 29, 2017. Joyce was a member of the Maxville Christian Church and enjoyed fishing, Christian music, being a part of the mission mirror church paper, visiting with and inviting others to church, collecting teddy bears, playing dominoes and other games with her friends, and traveling with her family. She is survived by 2 sons; Brian Main (wife Rhonda) of Parker City, IN, Kenny Main (wife Maggie) of Parker City, IN, 3 grandchildren; Kyle, Paige and Meghan, and 5 great grandchildren; Gabriel, Lilyann, Luke, Chase and Claire. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents Harlen and Mary Lindsey, husband James, 2 brothers; Jim and Richard Lindsey, and 1 sister; Peggy Hopper. Friends are invited to call Wednesday, September 25, 2024, from 11-1 at MJS Mortuaries - Farmland Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 1 PM with Pastor Jerry Brumfield officiating. Burial will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery in Farmland, IN. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Maxville Christian Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to MJS Mortuaries - Farmland Chapel.
