Ervin Johnson, Jr. was born on January 8, 2001, in Richland County, South Carolina, the beloved son of  Irvin Johnson, Sr. and the late Catherine Ann Randolph Johnson.   He transitioned from this earthly life on Monday, September 16, 2024, at MUSC Health Columbia Medical Center in Columbia, South Carolina.

“Junebug” as he was affectionately called, attended the public schools of Richland County, graduating from Lower Richland High School. He was formerly employed at Food Lion.

Ervin attended Saint Phillip African Methodist Episcopal Church  in Eastover, South Carolina.

Though one so dear is no longer with us, he was a loving son, brother, grandson, and friend whose memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved and knew him.

In addition to his mother Catherine Ann Randolph-Johnson, he was also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Sulton " Meter" and Franciena Johnson.

Those who are forever cherishing fond and precious memories of Ervin are his loving father, Irvin Johnson, Sr. of Eastover, South Carolina; his caring brother, Roger Lee Randolph of Woodlawn, Tennessee;  sister, Eileen Rena Johnson of Hopkins, South Carolina; maternal grandfather, Alexander Randolph; maternal grandmother, Cynthia Randolph, both of Columbia, South Carolina; and a  host of other loving relatives and dear friends who will dearly miss him.
