With great sorrow, we regretfully announce the sudden passing of beloved father and grandfather, Joe Thomson on September 12th, in his 87th year.

Predeceased by loving spouse of 63 years, Elaine (nee Miles) and cherished granddaughter, Katie Harris. Survived by dear sister, Claire (Neil) Calderozzi; lovely daughters, Teresa Harris and Rose Hoefling (Ed); grandchildren, Daniel and Heather (Ivan) Hoefling; Will (Trista) and Chris (Damian) Harris; and great grandchildren, Sereina and Nola Harris. Fondly remembered by many dear relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service for William Joseph Thomson, and Katherine Elaine Thomson will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Riverside United Church, 695 Riverside Drive, London, Ontario N6H 2S3. Service begins at 1:30 p.m.; doors open at 1:00 p.m. The church is fully accessible (wheelchair access; elevator). For the memorial service, please enter church through front doors.

After the ceremony, family & friends are invited to the interment of cremated remains at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. A reception at Riverside United Church will follow the interment. For the reception, please enter the church through the side doors (opposite the parking lot).
