Charlotte J. Leutzinger, 80, of Beatrice passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2024, at Beatrice Health and Rehabilitation. She was born on June 12, 1944, in Benson, to Lawrence W. Sr. and Louise L. (Parcell) Garvey. Charlotte married Robert Leutzinger on May 19, 1973, in Council Bluffs and together they moved to Beatrice in 1977. Charlotte worked at Formfit, Bonanza and then at Neapco until she retired on June 12, 2024, on her 80th birthday. Charlotte was a simple woman who enjoyed her family above anything else and the time she spent with them.

Survivors include her two sons, Edward Leutzinger of Bigfork MN, and James Leutzinger of Beatrice; sisters in-law, Eula Garvey of Pearidge, AR and Phyilis Garvey of Lincoln; one grandson, Noah Leutzinger; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Louise Garvey; husband, Robert (2020); brothers, Donald L. Garvey, Lawrence W. Jr. (Patricia) Garvey, Robert Garvey, and LeRoy (Jane) Garvey.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at Fox Funeral Home of Beatrice with Chaplain Sharon Schuster officiating. Inurnment will be at Evergreen Home Cemetery of Beatrice. Cremation has taken place and there will be no viewing. A book will be available for signatures on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M.
