Deborah (Debbie) Dianne Tollefson, 71, of Bagley, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 12th, 2024, at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 21st, 2024, 2:00 - 5:00 at the Rice Lake Community Center with Pastor Jackie Bernnachi officiating. Visitation will be Friday, September 20th, 5:00 – 7:00 pm at the Rice Lake Community Center with a prayer service at 7:00 pm. Interment will be at the Rice Lake Cemetery.

Debbie was born March 23, 1953, in Bagley, MN to Bernice (Redboy-Randberg) and Frank Thompson Sr. (Bud). She attended school in Bagley alongside her siblings where she later met and married Roger Tollefson in 1972 at the Faith Lutheran Church of Bagley. Debbie and Roger made their home in Deer River, MN where she worked at a Wild Rice plant and cleaned resort cabins along with her sisters. Deer River is where Debbie spent most of her life. Debbie’s nieces and nephews were very near and dear to her heart. She raised her nephew, Jeremy Patch, as her own. Debbie also cared for her mother, Bernice, until her passing in Deer River in 2003. Debbie moved back to Bagley, MN where she met Richard Tibbetts and spent the remainder of her life.

Debbie was a gentle soul with a loving heart and a sense of humor that left everyone belly laughing. She loved unconditionally and never judged anyone no matter where they were at in their life journey. She was a beloved sister, auntie, daughter, partner and friend to many. Debbie was always positive, happy, and full of smiles. She loved her family, friends and little dogs: Scooby, Peanut and Mama. She enjoyed going to the local casino with friends and family; Listening to old country music; She was an avid weekend attendee to garage sales finding the best deals and gems; and she absolutely loved humor and to laugh even at the expense of others, all in love of course. Debbie will be missed dearly by so many for her love, caring heart, humor, support, listening ear, and jolly personality.

Debbie will be lovingly reunited in Heaven with her mother, Bernice Redboy-Randberg; father, Frank (Bud) Thompson Sr.; sister, Charlene Thompson; sister, Judith Thompson; brother, Frank Thompson Jr.; brother, Michael Randberg; niece, Crystal Miller; nephew, Greg Thompson; nephew, Curtis Sather; nephew, Todd Boe; nephew, Travis Boe; and mother-in-law, Elsie Tollefson.
