Freddie Winfred Verser, age 76, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on September 12, 2024. Born on May 24, 1948, in Heber Springs, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Buel B. Verser and Georgia Fife Verser.
Freddie was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, and uncle. He was a veteran of the National Guard and a retired registered nurse at the Veterans Hospital in Little Rock. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, watching the Razorbacks, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his long-time partner Doris Atkins and her son Paul Oder, daughter Kristen Jeffers and her husband Bobby, his brother Al Verser and his wife Sandra, his nieces Alexandra Verser, and Lauren Hall and her husband Joe, his grandchildren Sydney Jeffers, and Makenzie Jeffers, and his faithful dog Grace. Mr. Verser is also survived by many other friends and family. He never met a stranger and was loved by all.
Visitation will be held from 9:30am – 10:30am on Monday, September 16, 2024, at Olmstead Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow at 11:00am at the Brownsville Cemetery in Greers Ferry, Arkansas.
